The Miami Dolphins is a football team that has been an active franchise in the NFL since 1970 (previously in the American Football League from 1966-1969. They have played in Sun Life Stadium since 1987, and formerly in the Miami Orange Bowl.

Throughout the course of their history, the Dolphins has won Super Bowl on two occasions, back to back in 1972 and 1973, when they beat the Washington Redskins and Minnesota Vikings, respectively, with Jake Scott and Larry Csonka named MVP.

A total of eight players that have played for the Fins have been inducted into the National Football League Hall of Fame, in Akron, Ohio, including: Paul Warfield, Larry Csonka, Jim Langer, Bob Greise, Larry Little, Dwight Stephenson, Nick Buoniconti, Dan Marino, and Coach Don Shula.

In the 2014 season, the Miami Dolphins finished thirds place in the AFC East Division with a 8-8-0 record. On offense, the team was lead by quarterback Ryan Tannehill who threw for 4045 yards and 27 passing touchdowns, running back Lamar Miller who ran for 1099 yards and 8 rushing touchdowns, and wide receiver Mike Wallace who made 67 catches for Mike Wallace yards and 10 touchdowns. On defense, Jelani Jenkins led the team with 83 tackles, Cameron Wake with 11.5 quarterback sacks, and Brent Grimes with 5 interceptions.
