Dates for the 2017 Download Festival have already been set - for 9th to 11th June at Castle Doningtown in Derby

Early bird tickets are on sale as of Friday, 28th October.

The first wave of lineup confirmations are expected Thursday, 3rd November.

Last year's killer line up featured Black Sabbath, Rammstein, Iron Maiden, Royal Blood, NOFX, Jane's Addiction, Graveyard, Danko Jones, Sixx AM, Bury Tomorrow, Deftones, Megadeeth, Nightwish, Distrubed, Korn, and more to come! Stay tuned for more #DL2016 line up confirmations. Last year's edition saw Slipknot, Muse, Kiss, Judas Priest, Five Finger Death Punch, and Black Stone Cherry, among others.

    I went to Download 2005, it was amazing :) sound quality on the main stage wasn't that good. I loved watching Nightwish. If you ever get the chance to go to a Download festival, just go dudes!! lol
