Bombay Bicycle Club is a London based indie rock band who originally called themselves The Canals. The band is comprised of 4 musicians, Jack Steadman, Jamie MacColl, Ed Nash and Suren de Saram. At first glance, Bombay Bicycle Club may seem like a rather random name for a band, but the band's name is also the name of a chain of London restaurants. After becoming one of the two bands to win the "Road To V" competition put on by Virgin Mobile, Bombay Bicycle Club gained recognition in the musical community that only grew upon the release of their debut album I Had The Blues But I Shook Them Loose. This album was followed by Flaws and A Different Kind Of Fix and between these albums they released a slew of singles including "Dust On The Ground" and "Leave It".
